There is a huge variety of color combinations you could choose for this project. Go natural with fall colors such as shades of brown, rusts, and creams, or get out your favorite bright, vibrant reds, yellows, blues, greens, purples, etc., and make a truly colorful rainbow!
These rainbows make a great addition to baby nurseries and children’s bedrooms.
When the instructions are followed, you will end up with a rainbow that measures 6 inches by 6 inches. However, if you want to make a longer or taller rainbow, simply add stitches or rows to make any size rainbow you want to.
For this project, you will need bulky weight #5 yarn, in at least 4 different colors, 80 inches of 100% natural cotton rope that is 5 mm thick, 18-gauge craft wire, straight knitting needles US Size 7, a tapestry needle, and scissors.
