Here is a FREE knitting pattern for you to consider doing if you want a quick project that can work up likely over a weekend (or less)!
These simple yet stylish coasters are inspired by vintage French linens, because of their faded stripes and beige backgrounds, although you could choose to use any colors of your choice!
This pattern requires knowledge of the Chinese wave stitch, and if you are not familiar with that knitting technique, there is a video included with the pattern that shows you just how to do that technique.
This project requires 10-ply cotton yarn and US Size 7 needles. For any type of project that involves water being absorbed into it (such as coasters or wash cloths), 100% cotton yarn is highly recommended because of its superior ability to absorb water that is far above that of acrylic.
