I present to you now the free knitting for this casual market bag!
This tote works great for quick trips to the store and/or day-long trips to the beach or park.
The best part about this particular project is that it’s beginner level, although even experienced knitters will enjoy this one, not only because it works up pretty quickly, it also is beautiful when finished!
The finished tote measures approximately 17 inches in length, excluding the handles, so it is quite roomy inside and will hold quite a few items.
Materials and tools needed for this project include the following:
3 balls of Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Yarn Ombre in your choice of colors (the Ombre style of Bernat is a variegated yarn)
US Size 6 and US Size 10-1/2 knitting needles (or size needed to get gauge correct).
Get the Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Yarn Ombre here
Note that you will need to start with the smaller knitting needles for the first 5 rows, and then transition to the larger needles starting with the sixth round.
This tote is truly an absolutely gorgeous one, regardless of which colors you choose to use! I hope you give this one a try!
