These knitting patterns are for knitted Easter eggs in three different sizes.
They can be decorated in a variety of ways around the middle portion.
These knitted Easter eggs look spectacular either in bright colors like are shown in the featured image here, or even in pastels, so pick your preference and start knitting!
There are two sizes, the small one being slightly smaller than a hen’s egg, and the medium one being larger than a hen’s egg.
The large size is quite a bit larger, nearly equivalent to the size of a goose’s egg.
You can choose to either get your hands on some polystyrene (Styrofoam) eggs, or you can use pillow stuffing, it’s your choice!
If you choose to use pillow stuffing, the eggs will end up being slightly larger than if you use Styrofoam eggs. The finished eggs in the 3 different sizes will measure as follows:
Large: 11.5cm / 4.5” long; 19cm / 7.5” circumference
Medium: 7.5cm / 3” long; 12.5cm / 5” circumference
Small: 5cm / 2” long; 10.5cm / 4.25” circumference
