If you are new to knitting any kind of stuffed animals or other knitted items that need to have stuffing added, this Gus and Augustus knitting pattern would be a great project to start with!
Additionally, as per the designer of these adorable ghosties, each ghost takes only approximately 2 hours to complete, so it thus makes a great last-minute knitting project as well!
Another thing I must point out is directed towards any of you who absolutely dislike weaving in your ends (and truly, who truly does like that part?). Because these ghosts have stuffing added to them after they have been knitted, instead of having to weave the ends in, you can simply pull the ends in where the stuffing will go, thus eliminating the need to weave in any ends.
When completed, the smaller ghost, “Gus,” measures approximately 3.5 inches tall x 3 inches wide, and the larger ghost, “Augustus,” measures approximately 4 inches tall x 3 inches wide.
Each of these ghosts requires less than 50 yards of worsted-weight yarn, and the eyes are actually just small pieces of contrasting yarn that is stitched on, so you don’t need to go out and buy any special eyes or buttons.
