Hi! My name is Susan and I have been knitting for many years.
I started knitting when I was in the fourth grade and have continued knitting since! I also like to crochet, but prefer knitting because I like the look of knitted stitches over crocheted ones. Just my personal preference.
I really liked it when the idea of Pinterest came out, because it allowed me a place to save all of the “ooooohhh-aaaahhhhh” knitting patterns I came across into one place. I had previously been printing and saving them on paper, and I got quite a lot of papers added up.
However, because of my experience working with websites at my job, I decided I wanted to make my own personal site dedicated totally to knitting, so Gold Key Knitting was born during 2020!
My main mission with Gold Key Knitting is to provide free knitting patterns to everyone who happens to find this site. I add at least one new knitting pattern every day, so please check back periodically for new patterns!
