First off, to get this free knitting pattern for this gorgeous gingerbread house, you will have access to the pattern for the actual house itself at Ravelry without signing up. However, for the candies and other things that decorate the outside of the house, you will need to sign up for free with Ravelry. I don’t usually like to post patterns that require a sign-up, but I felt this one was well worth it!
This wonderful knitted gingerbread house is simply oozing with knitted treasures, no matter which part of it you happen to glance at!
Instructions are included not only for the house itself, but also for all of the cookies and candies adorning the outside!
The finished house measures approximately 5.1 inches wide x 6.6 inches deep (from front to back) x 7.8 inches tall.
Additionally, the pattern provides instructions for creating a hinged roof that lifts up, allowing for storage of Christmas candies or any other goodies you can dream up!
