I absolutely LOVE the beauty and simplicity of this scarf! This pattern is offered as a freebie for you!
This is a scarf that will knit up pretty quickly as you watch your favorite movie. Wear it around and everyone will ask where it came from.
A beautiful French yarn called songe was used for the featured image in this post, but any yarn that meets about the same gauge as the indicated gauge gauge will do. You will need 2 balls, some needles, and off you go!
A finished scarf, when the correct gauge is obtained, measures approximately 3-1/2 inches wide x 40 inches long.
This scarf would work up beautifully in a huge variety of different colors, and it truly is a scarf that can be worn during almost all seasons, other than when mid-summer is at its hottest!
For this knitting pattern, the first (cast on) row is done with a double strand of yarn, and all subsequent rows are done with one strand of yarn. The double strand of yarn is what gives this scarf the curly edge that is so very appealing!
